Reference Implementations
What a reference implementation is
A reference implementation shows a standard in use. It is one way to build on a standard, not the standard itself, and not a privileged one. Anyone can build an alternative implementation of the same standard and interoperate with it.
Reading the list
Each entry names the product, the standard or standards it consumes, and what it currently does. Where there is no reference implementation yet, that is stated plainly rather than implied.
- Beautiful ProfileIdentity Open Data, Network Open Data
Hosts and renders a person's signed profile and relationships, addressed by DID rather than a Beautiful-issued name.
- RentifulResidential Open Data
A rental product that consumes Residential Open Data to represent renters, landlords and letting agents.
- Future examplesWork Open Data, Cars Open Data
No reference implementation yet. These standards are drafts without a consuming product.
